Liverpool are considering a January bid for FC Basel winger Mohamed Salah, according to Daily Mail.
The 21-year-old has won himself quite a few admirers among top European clubs following some scintillating showings in Champions League and Europa League.
Tottenham are thought to be keeping close tabs on the highly rated footballer, while Daily Mail reports that Liverpool are also keen.
The Reds have been encouraged by the impressive start to the Premier League campaign and they are eager to further reinforce the squad in January. It is believed Liverpool are also pondering a winter swoop for Derby County wonderkid Will Hughes.
The Reds currently sit just two points adrift of Premiership leaders Arsenal and are priced at 15/2 to win what should be one of the most interesting title races in the league’s history.
After returning to winning ways against West Bromwich, Liverpool face a crunch tie against the Gunners next weekend.
