Liverpool are set to make a move for Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko, according to the Mail Online.
The Merseyside club are desperate to bring in a new forward for next season with their current front line having contributed just eight league goals between them so far this campaign.
Two of those players, Italian pair Mario Balotelli and Fabio Borini could be moved on as the Reds look to raise funds for new additions, while Rickie Lambert has also been linked with a move away from Anfield.
Dzeko has played one hundred and eighty-five games for City since signing from Wolfsburg in January 2011, scoring eighty-five goals, while he has been part of the squads that won league titles in both 2012 and 2014 and also had winners medals in the FA Cup and League Cup.
Fellow City forward Stevan Jovetic, Aston Villa’s Christian Benteke and Danny Ings of Burnley have also been linked with a move to Merseyside in recent weeks.
