Premier League high flying side Liverpool are said to be hot on the heels of the 18-year-old Hertha Berlin striker Muhammed Kiprit, according to reports brought by Sky Sport Germany.
The talented striker is currently playing for Hertha’s Under-19 team where he continues to impress with 19 goals in 20 games thus far.
Kiprit joined the Bundesliga outfit from Tennis Borussia Berlin in 2015 and his contract with Hertha is running down at the end of the current season.
The Bundesliga side are willing to tie him down to a new contract but are well aware of the increased interest coming from Liverpool who are said to have sent scouts to watch Kiprit in action on numerous occasions during the past few months.
Muhammed Kiprit last season rejected a chance to move to Benfica but his head could be turned by the prospect of joining the Premier League hotshots.
In the meantime, Liverpool’s city rivals Everton are also said to be looking at a soon-to-be free agent.
