Premier League outfit Liverpool are considering a summer move for Hoffenheim forward Kevin Volland, according to Bild.
The Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has already signed one Bundesliga star in Roberto Firmino and he could now recruit his former teammate as well.
Having watched Volland on a number of occasions during his time at Borussia Dortmund, the highly rated coach believes he has what it takes to improve the squad at Anfield.
Klopp is reportedly also looking at Stuttgart winger Filip Kostic, but the €30 million asking price is likely to prove obstacle to any deal.
Meanwhile, Volland has an €18 million release clause in his contract, and he is well within Liverpool’s price range.
The 23-year-old has been one of Bundesliga’s leading footballers for several years now and he has managed 32 goals and 25 assists in last four league campaigns, having joined from Munich 1860 four years ago.
