Liverpool eyeing Leverkusen duo

Daily Mirror has learned that Liverpool are considering a double swoop for Bayer Leverkusen starlets Heung-Min Son and Emre Can.

Having secured Champions League qualification, the Reds need to add more bodies to the squad in the summer transfer window and the two Bundesliga players appear to be high on their wish list.

Liverpool missed out on forward Heung Min-Son last summer as he opted to join Bayer Leverkusen, but they plan to launch a new assault on the Korean.

The 21-year-old has enjoyed a good first season at Bay Arena, having managed 9 goals and 4 assists in 29 Bundesliga appearances.

Meanwhile, his teammate Emre Can has been a real revelation this season and his impressive performances in central midfield and at left-back have caught the eye of Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers.

The 20-year-old did really well to nail down a regular starting berth and has so far bagged 2 goals in 27 league outings.
