Tuttosport is reporting that Liverpool are weighing up a summer bid for Inter Milan starlet Mateo Kovacic.
Having secured Champions League qualification, the Reds desperately need to add more bodies to the squad in the summer transfer window.
And Tuttosport understands that Inter Milan midfielder Mateo Kovacic is one of the first names on club’s hit-list.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is convinced the Croatian footballer would be a good addition to the squad, and it is believed Inter would consider any serious offer for the talented player as they plan to completely revamp the squad in the summer.
Mateo Kovacic joined the Nerazzurri from Dinamo Zagreb in an €11 million deal in January 2013, but he hasn’t managed to make the desired impact in Italian Serie A.
The 19-year-old started just ten league games this season and he could be interested in moving clubs at the end of the current campaign.
