Premier League giants Liverpool are showing interest in Paris Saint-Germain starlet Presnel Kimpembe, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The talented youngster has already proved his worth at senior level and he was subject of heavy interest during the summer transfer window.
Chelsea and AS Monaco both attempted to secure his signature, and it has now been revealed that Liverpool were in the mix as well.
It is no secret that manager Jurgen Klopp plans to reinforce his back line and he appears to be hot on the trail of the 21-year-old centre-back.
The Reds could return for the highly rated football in the January transfer window, but the problem is that Kimpembe could soon sign a new deal at Parc des Princes until 2021.
After making mere six league appearances last season, Kimpembe has already started as many Ligue 1 fixtures this term and he is now third choice stopper behind Thiago Silva and Marquinhos.
