Spanish media outlet Don Balon claims that Liverpool are hot on the trail of Real Madrid starlet Dani Ceballos.
The attacking midfielder made a move to Santiago Bernabeu last summer after impressing for Spain at the Under-21 European Championships, but things haven’t really gone according to plan since.
Namely, Ceballos has struggled for playing time in Madrid, having managed just three hours of La Liga football this term.
As a result, he is now considering his options and may be ready to leave los Blancos in the January window.
According to reports, Liverpool are the latest club to have joined the chase, following in the footsteps of Tottenham, Arsenal, Inter Milan, AS Roma and few other top clubs.
