The 20-year-old Sheffield United starlet David Brooks is being monitored by a number of Premier League clubs thought to be interested in young Wales international’s services.
Brooks impressive displays for the Blades saw him emerge as a surprise choice for Chris Coleman in the Wales national team during the World Cup qualifiers. The talented teenager is set to link-up with the Welsh Dragons once again for games against Georgia and Republic of Ireland this week.
Wales can be backed at 7/10 betting odds to beat Georgia in Tbilisi on Friday.
Liverpool have reportedly emerged as frontrunners for Brooks and will look to sing the 20-year-old at the end of the season. Sheffield United are keen to hold on to their rising talent and will try to tie him down on a new long-term deal but the prospect of playing under Jurgen Klopp might turn out to be too good to turn down for Brooks.
The German tactician boasts a positive reputation for developing talented players, helping their reach their full potential and it is believed that a move to Merseyside would be highly beneficial for the talented Sheffield star.
