Liverpool go after Bellingham?

According to a recent report from Bild, Liverpool are hopeful that Borussia Dortmund could agree to sell Jude Bellingham during the January transfer window.

However, in order to acquire him, the Reds would have to fork out a club record fee for the young Englishman. Liverpool often pick and choose their moments with regards to making big purchases and as a result, the building of their first team squad has been a slow and steady process. Still, given the success they’ve had in recent years, we’re pretty sure their fans wouldn’t have it any other way.

Bellingham is young, has an awful lot of experience and clearly seems open to the idea of returning to England – but the big question is when he wants to do so.

He clearly seems to enjoy German football and because of that, you’d think January may be a bit too soon for him to make the transition – but money talks.
