Premier League outfit Liverpool have seemingly admitted defeat in Philippe Coutinho transfer saga and have already turned to finding the replacement for in-form Brazilian.
Reds have reportedly rekindled their interest in highly-rated AS Monaco star Thomas Lemar who was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League last summer with Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United also believed to be interested in his services.
The Frenchman appears to be keen on working with Klopp and British media suggest that Liverpool have already approached AS Monaco to re-open negotiations for a player they attempted to land last summer.
The 22-year-old is highly regarded as one of the top attacking talents in France and across Europe and getting him would be another huge statement of intent from Jurgen Klopp, who is building a young and exciting squad at Anfield.
Lemar made 13 Ligue 1 appearances this season for AS Monaco, adding two goals for the Principality club during that time.
