Liverpool are interested in signing Conor Gallagher from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that 23-year-old England international is among the midfielders that Liverpool have identified as a potential signing.
Gallagher has been on the books of Chelsea since 2008, but the 23-year-old midfielder is not a regular for the first team for the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners. The youngster has made 12 starts and 16 substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Blues so far this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist in the process.
The midfielder has made one start and six substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for Chelsea so far this season. Gallagher has also made one substitute appearance in the Carabao Cup and has played once in the FA Cup.
