Liverpool interested in Depay

According to a recent report from Todofijaches, Liverpool are planning a surprise move to try and sign Memphis Depay.

The Barcelona star is believed to be “unsettled” at the club, with the rumour mill suggesting that the Reds could begin the process of trying to acquire him as soon as the January transfer window.

Whether or not it’d go through before the window closes is another matter altogether but even if stretches out to the summer, you’d have to think it’s still something Liverpool would entertain.

The stumbling block for some would be that he’s a former Manchester United player but given how poorly things went for him at Old Trafford, we don’t think there would be too much of an issue.

Depay is one of the most enthralling players in world football when he hits top form and even though that’s been a rarity at times, he’d still be great option for Liverpool to have.
