Liverpool interested in Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez

Liverpool are interested in signing Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan in the summer transfer window, according to Calciomercato. It has been reported that defending Italian champions Inter are looking for €90 million in transfer fees to sell the Argentina international striker.

Martinez is one of the best strikers in the world and has been superb for Inter over the years. The 24-year-old played a big role in Inter winning the Serie A title last season and could help them clinch the Scudetto this time around too. The Inter no. 10 has scored 11 goals and given two assists in 18 Serie A starts so far this season, and scored 17 goals and provided six assists in 30 league starts in 2020-21.

Liverpool are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 57 points from 25 matches, six points behind leaders and defending champions Manchester City, who have played 26 games. Inter are currently second in the Serie A table with 54 points from 25 games.
