Liverpool interested in McGinn

According to a recent report from Daily Mirror, Liverpool have been linked with a possible move for Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn.

The Scot has featured in all three of his nation’s Euro 2020 games this summer and while he couldn’t push them through to the knockout stage, he did reaffirm his position as one of the most exciting players within their squad.

McGinn joined Villa from Hibernian back in 2018 and over the course of the last few years, he’s been able to establish himself as a real player of influence alongside Jack Grealish in the first team.

Liverpool are going to have to put in a really impressive offer in order to lure him away from Villa, but if they do decide to sell, the Midlands club seem to be more than capable of replacing him.

Doing so would be a tall order, but if the money is right, anything is possible.
