According to a recent report from the Mirror, Liverpool are interested in trying to sign Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey during the summer transfer window.
The belief is that Juventus want at least £17 million in order to agree to a sale for him, although there are also rumblings that they would be happy to accept a fee as little as £10 million.
Ramsey has had mixed fortunes during his time in Italy ever since he left Arsenal, with many often questioning whether or not he’d consider heading back over to English football. A switch back to Arsenal is possible but given their current position in the Premier League, that may not appeal to the Welshman quite as much as many would’ve thought.
On the flip side it seems as if Liverpool are on the verge of qualifying for next season’s Champions League which, in itself, is a huge incentive for a player like Ramsey.
