Liverpool interested in White

According to a recent report from Football Insider, Liverpool are planning a move to sign Brighton defender Ben White.

The plan seems to be that they will go after White during the summer transfer window with Jurgen Klopp being particularly impressed by his performance in the Seagulls’ recent 1-0 win over the Reds.

Liverpool fans will be well aware of the issues they’ve been having defensively and while they did bring in a few more bodies in January, they’re still struggling to really get up and running with a stable centre-back partnership.

White, on the other hand, has seen his stock go up massively in recent months after firmly establishing himself as a star for the future in the Premier League.

Some have even said he could feature for England at UEFA Euro 2021 this summer, but domestically, there’s a decent chance Anfield could be his next destination as the transfer rumours continue to grow.
