Liverpool interested in Willian

Liverpool have opened talks with Chelsea forward Willian ahead of the Brazilian’s potential switch to Anfield next season, as reported by Sport.

Willian is all set to leave Stamford Bridge when his contract expires during the summer transfer window, but as a result of the ongoing chaos surrounding the Coronavirus pandemic, nobody really knows what’s going to happen next in regards to the transfer window.

Liverpool will probably be very busy regardless of what happens in the next few months, as they attempt to distract themselves from the reality that they could miss out on the Premier League title – despite having a tremendous season up to this point.

Willian tends to blow hot and cold for the Blues, but if he’s able to find his footing and carve out some consistent performances towards the end of the season, it’ll only strengthen his odds of securing a move to the champions elect.
