Liverpool join race for Feghouli

Spanish newspaper Superdeporte has suggested that Liverpool have made an enquiry into the availability of Valencia winger Sofiane Feghouli.

Feghouli, 22, has been in scintillating form this season and has seen his name linked with the likes of Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain this term.

Superdeporte now claims that Liverpool, too, have joined the race for the highly rated winger.

The Reds are keen on adding more firepower in the winter transfer window and have contacted the La Liga outfit to see whether the player is available for sale.

Feghouli has a deal until June 2014 at Mestalla and he is currently locked in the talks with Valencia officials over contract extension.

There is every chance the Algeria international is waiting to see whether the interested clubs will make a move in January before he commits his long-term future to los Che.

Sofiane Feghouli has largely impressed this season, scoring 3 goals and setting up another 2 in 12 La Liga appearances.
