Premier League giants Liverpool are hot on the trail of Leeds United hotshot Alex Mowatt, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Reds scouts have watched the highly rated midfielder on regular basis this season and in turn delivered glowing reports to manager Brendan Rodgers.
As a result, Liverpool are seriously considering a summer bid for his services, although Premier League rivals Everton and West Ham are keen as well.
Alex Mowatt has largely impressed playing for the Whites this season and he scored four goals in last six matches as Leeds won four of those games.
The 20-year-old is widely tipped to join a top Premier League side in the summer, although it is believed it would cost at least £5 million to secure his services.
Alex Mowatt, who has scored a total of 9 goals in 57 Championship appearances for Leeds United, made one appearance for England Under 19 side.
