English media outlet talkSPORT claims that Liverpool are readying January bid for Inter Milan stopper Andrea Ranocchia.
The Reds recruited the likes of Joel Matip and Ragnar Klavan in the summer, but with Mamadou Sakho expected to leave, they could further reinforce their back line in the winter.
According to reports, manager Jurgen Klopp has set his sights on Inter Milan centre-back Andrea Ranocchia, who has struggled for playing time of late.
The former Italy international is behind Joao Miranda, Jeison Murillo and Gary Medel in the pecking order, and he could be made available for sale despite having another three years left on his current deal.
Ranocchia has only started two Serie A games in Inter Milan shirt since losing his place in the starting line-up over a year ago, albeit enjoying a successful loan spell with Sampdoria, and he is likely to be tempted by the prospect of moving to Anfield.
