Premier League giants Liverpool are considering a summer move for Borussia M’gladbach midfielder Havard Nordtveit, Sunday People has suggested.
The Norwegian footballer will be out of contract at the end of the current campaign and he is considering his options.
Borussia Dortmund were the first high-profile club to register an interest in his services, but it would appear as though Liverpool are keen as well.
The Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is obviously well aware of Nordtveit’s qualities from his time in Bundesliga, and he plans to bring him to Anfield in the summer window.
Nordtveit recently admitted that he would soon make a decision on his future, and he is likely to be tempted by the prospect of returning to English Premier League.
Namely, the 25-year-old spent four years at Arsenal Football Club, although he went on to leave the Gunners without making a single competitive appearance for the Emirates outfit.
