Liverpool have joined the race to sign Burnley centre back Michael Keane, according to the Mirror.
Reds’ boss Jurgen Klopp has made the England international his top target as he looks to strengthen his defence ahead of next season.
Manchester United have also expressed an interest in re-signing the twenty-four year old while Everton and Tottenham Hotspur are also monitoring the situation.
Keane moved to Turf Moor initially on loan in the summer of 2014 and has since racked up one hundred and eight appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring seven goals while he helped them secure promotion to the top flight last season.
His performances this season have seen him become recognised at senior international level with the defender making his debut in a 1-0 friendly defeat to Germany back in March while he also played in the World Cup qualification victory over Lithuania four days later.
