Premier League high flyers Liverpool are considering a late bid for FC Porto defender Bruno Martins Indi, the Daily Mirror can reveal.
The Reds did well to strengthen the squad in the summer transfer window and they recorded a 4-3 triumph in the opening Premier League fixture against top 4 rivals Arsenal.
However, Jurgen Klopp is still in the market for defensive reinforcements, especially after left-back Alberto Moreno enjoyed a nightmare performance at the Emirates.
According to the Daily Mirror, the German coach has set his sights on FC Porto centre-back Bruno Martins Indi, who is also able to operate on the left hand side.
The good news is that the Dutch defender is not in the first team plans of coach Nuno Espirito Santo and he is almost certain to leave this summer.
Bruno Martins Indi, 24, joined FC Porto from Feyenoord two years ago and has since made 47 league appearances for the Dragons.
