Premier League giants Liverpool are considering a move for FC Porto starlet Ruben Neves, according to Record.
The Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the talented midfielder and he is determined to bring him to Anfield.
The problem is that FC Porto will not be selling their prized asset unless someone matches his €40 million release clause, so it is clear that Liverpool could have a tough task agreeing a deal with the Dragons.
The 19-year-old exploded onto the biggest stage last season, and he was even handed the captain’s armband, although he has suffered a slight dip in form this term.
Nevertheless, Jurgen Klopp is convinced he has what it takes to succeed at Anfield and could test FC Porto’s resolve with a summer bid.
Despite his fragile age, Ruben Neves has already made 46 league appearances for the Dragons, while featuring in 15 Champions League matches.
