Liverpool are closely monitoring the progress of Anderlecht youngster Youri Tielemans, according to The People.
The Reds have long ago been alerted of the 17-year-old starlet and they had the midfielder watched in midweek’s Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund.
Liverpool are not exactly spoilt for choices in the middle of the park and they could step up their interest in the Belgian in the near future.
Youri Tielemans is widely regarded as one of the hottest prospects to have come out of club’s youth academy and he is already considered a first team regular despite his fragile age.
The youngster has so far made 39 league appearances for Anderlecht, scoring 2 goals in the process, while featuring in six Champions League games.
Tielemans is currently a member of Belgium Under-21 side, but it is only a matter of time before he is handed his debut for the senior national team.
