Kenny Dalglish will turn to PSG’s Mamadou Sakho should he fail to lure Bolton’s Gary Cahill to Anfield.
King Kenny is widely looking for defensive reinforcements and he has set his sights on Bolton defender Gary Cahill among others.
However, with Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea also tracking the England international, the Liverpool boss also has a plan B.
Should he fail to bring Cahill to Anfield, Dalglish will make a move for Paris Saint-Germain star Mamadou Sakho, who is widely tipped to leave Parc des Princes at the end of the season.
The 21-year-old is considered one of the hottest prospects in France and he already has a lot of experience for a player of that age, having featured in more than 100 games for the Saints.
Sakho has represented France at every youth level and is now part of Laurent Blanc’s senior squad.
