Liverpool are considering a move for Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette, according to the Metro.
The 22 year old has been in fine form for Remi Garde’s side this season, scoring thirteen goals in twenty-five Ligue One appearances, while he won his first two full international caps for France in friendlies against Uruguay and Brazil last summer.
Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre has vowed that manager Brendan Rodgers will be backed when the transfer window reopens in the summer, as the club look to continue the momentum gathered during this campaign by strengthening their squad.
The Reds currently sit in second place in the Premier League, four points behind Chelsea with ten games left to play, though fourth place Manchester City have two games in hand over both sides.
The Merseyside club, who have not won the league championship since 1990, can be backed at 9/2 to finish the season in first place.
