Premier League top-four hopefuls Liverpool have reportedly open talks over a possible summer deal for ASA Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
Having installed Loris Karius as his new first-choice goalkeeper, Jurgen Klopp looks set to lose Simon Mignolet next summer and the Liverpool management is already laying the ground for a new top-name goalkeeper to further increase the squad quality.
Reds have experienced all sorts of defensive issues over the past period but with the arrival of Virgil van Dijk and a new goalkeeper, they should raise the bar significantly at the back.
According to Sky Sports, Liverpool have stepped up their efforts to sign the long-term target Alisson from AS Roma.
Giallorossi are willing to do business with Liverpool again – after selling them Mohamed Salah last summer – but will demand a much heftier fee this time. AS Roma are unwilling to budge for anything less than €70 million, it is being reported.
