Liverpool are readying January bid for Derby County starlet Will Hughes, according to Daily Express.
The Reds were keen on signing the player in the summer transfer window, but ultimately opted to pursue other targets.
However, with England’s top clubs showing interest in the 18-year-old, Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is ready to return for the talented footballer in January with a view of adding him to the ranks at Anfield.
Chief scout Barry Hunter has been instructed to watch Hughes on regular basis and it is believed it would take an offer in the region of £10 million to sign the England Under-21 international.
Despite his fragile age, Hughes has already made no less than 43 Championship appearances for the Rams, scoring 2 goals in the process.
He is widely regarded as one of England’s most talented footballers at the moment, and it is hardly surprising top Premier League clubs are locked in the battle for his signature.
