Daily Express has suggested that Liverpool are readying January bid for FC Porto striker Jackson Martinez.
The Reds signed Mario Balotelli as a replacement for Luis Suarez, but with the Italian largely disappointing this season, they may have to recruit a new striker in the winter.
According to Daily Express, Liverpool could make a move on long-term target Jackson Martinez.
With the Reds in desperate need of a proven goalscorer, they are reportedly ready to offer around £30 million for the Colombia international.
Jackson Martinez has been scoring goals for fun ever since he joined the Dragons from Chiapas, and currently has 53 goals in 69 league outings.
Having also netted 10 times in 20 Champions League fixtures, the 28-year-old has clearly proved his worth at the biggest stage.
The striker is now ready to leave Porto for a top European club, although he is not going to be available on the cheap.
