Liverpool are considering a bid for Barcelona midfielder Gerard Deulofeu, according to The People.
New boss Brendan Rodgers, who is a big fan of possession football, is looking to add few more creative players to the squad, after missing out on Icelandic midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The People claims the Reds are thinking about making an official bid for Barcelona youngster Gerard Deulofeu.
Queens Park Rangers are also keen, but they are only interested in loaning the highly rated winger.
The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the hottest prospects at Camp Nou and has been even likened to Leo Messi, but he has made just one La Liga appearance for the Catalans so far.
Barcelona boss Tito Vilanova would consider sending the player on loan to get some first team experience, while it is hard to expect that the Catalans would be interested in cashing in on the youngster.
Deulofeu has scored 9 goals in 34 games for Barcelona B last season, while starting all 7 games for Spain Under-19 side at the European Championship, scoring three goals in the process.
