Liverpool linked to Bundesliga star

German newspaper Hamburger Morgenpost understands that Liverpool are closely following Hamburg forward Heung-Min Son.

The Reds are desperately short of quality in attack and are keen to address the burning issue as soon as the transfer reopens in January.

Hamburger Morgenpost claims that the Premier League side are readying a bid of around €10.5 million for HSV forward Heung-Min Son.

The problem is that the Bundesliga club are not interested in selling one of their most prized asset, especially as the player has only recently established himself as a first team regular at Imtech Arena.

Heung-Min Son is enjoying his new role at the club and is currently not interested in leaving the Red Shorts.

The South Korea international has been in fine form at the start of the new league campaign, netting 4 times in 7 Bundesliga appearances for Hamburger SV.
