The report has claimed that Musiala, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder, are in talks with Bundesliga champions Bayern, and former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners Liverpool are monitoring the situation.

Musiala has made two starts and two substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for Bayern so far this season. The 20-year-old has given one assist in those games. The Germany international has scored one goal and given one assist in two UEFA Champions League matches for the Bavarian giants so far this campaign.

Liverpool are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 17 points from eight matches, three points behind Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, who are first and second respectively in the standings.
