Liverpool are lining up a move for Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen, according to the Metro.
The 19 year old is currently nearing the end of his first season with Borussia Monchengladbach, having moved to the Bundesliga side on a two-year loan last July.
The full-back moved to Stamford Bridge from Brondby’s youth set up in 2012, but has made just three appearances for the Blues with his only Premier League outing coming as a substitute in a 3-1 win over Sunderland on the final day of last season.
He has played twenty-five times for Monchengladbach so far, and scored his first ever senior goals in their 5-1 win over Werdrer Bremen last Friday.
Andre Schubert’s side are keen on agreeing a permanent deal for the two-time Denmark international, though Liverpool are also interested as they look to strengthen their back-line ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.
