Liverpool are eyeing a shock move for Mexico international Javier Hernandez, according to the Metro.
The 26 year old is currently on loan at European Champions Real Madrid after being deemed surplus to requirements by Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal last summer.
Premier League duo Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United have also both been linked with a move for the forward, who has barely featured for Real since switching to Spain.
He has made just one start in La Liga, and has scored only four goals in all competitions, with his last club strike coming in a 4-1 Copa Del Rey win over Cordoba almost six month ago.
So far for United, the former Guadalajara has scored fifty-nine goals in one hundred and fifty-four games, while internationally he has thirty-nine in seventy-one caps, and netted in both the 2010 World Cup in South Africa and last summer’s tournament in Brazil.
