Liverpool linked with move for Stefan de Vrij

Premier League giants Liverpool are considering a January bid for Lazio stopper Stefan de Vrij, according to talkSPORT.

The Reds have experienced all sorts of problems at the back this season and they are desperately looking for high-quality centre-backs.

talkSPORT has suggested that Lazio hotshot Stefan de Vrij is high on club’s hit list, and the good news is the Netherlands international should be available for a reasonable price.

Namely, de Vrij’s contract at Stadio Olimpico is due to expire in June 2018, although the 25-year-old is negotiating a new deal with the club.

The Netherlands star is widely regarded as one of Serie A’s leading centre-backs and he is on the radar of quite a few top sides.

Following the great start to the new campaign, Lazio can be backed at 4/5 to achieve a top 4 finish.
