Santos teenager Rodrygo has emerged as one of the hottest prospects in the Brazilian football since Neymar and the young striker has already alarmed several clubs around Europe, with Premier League side Liverpool thought to be in the front row, according to Globo Esporte.
The Brazil U-17 striker is believed to be a subject to an official bid from the Reds, who are extremely interested in signing the teenager, who is yet to sign a professional contract with his club.
Globo Esporte do note that Santos are prepared to offer their youngster a healthy annual salary with bonuses and a hefty release clause in order to ward off Liverpool and potential new suitors.
What is more, Santos are looking into the possibility to integrate Rodrygo in the first-team season in order to fast-track the striker on to the biggest stage.
Rodrygo has been with Santos since he was 11, but Liverpool are hopeful his more prominent countrymen Philippe Coutinho and Firmino could play a part in persuading the boy to move to Anfield.
