Liverpool are looking to sell Rafael Camacho this summer after the youngster refused to sign a new deal with the club, according to Liverpool Echo.
The 19-year-old spent five years in the Sporting Lisbon youth setup and the following three with Manchester City. Having been released by the current Premier League champions in 2016, he joined Liverpool. He impressed manager Jurgen Klopp last summer during pre-season, and has appeared twice in competitive games for the first team. Raised as a winger, Camacho is capable of performing any task wide on the right, whether it be as a forward, a midfielder, or a fullback.
Entering the final 12 months of his contract, he refused an offer of an extension and has informed sporting director Michael Edwards that he wouldn’t be signing one at all.
Liverpool are, naturally, reluctant to lose the talented player at all but especially for free, and they’re therefore ready to listen to offers. They will, however, demand at least £10 million for his services. Sporting are apparently keen to take him back to Lisbon, while Wolverhampton Wanderers may offer him a prolonged stay in England.
