Liverpool monitor Omar Marmoush

According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany, Liverpool are closely monitoring the situation of Omar Marmoush at Eintracht Frankfurt.

The 25-year-old Egyptian striker has racked up fantastic numbers this season, scoring nine goals and producing six assists in just nine matches across all competitions. Having joined Eintracht as a free agent from Wolfsburg just over a year ago, he has a contract with his current club until the summer of 2027, but Eintracht are keen to persuade him to sign a new deal, set to last a year longer than that. On Sunday, he scored twice as his team battled for a hard-earned point against Bayern Munich.

As things stand, Liverpool are facing the prospect of losing Mohamed Salah at the end of the season, despite some expectations of talks over a new deal to start soon, and they appear to be considering options to strengthen their attacking section. Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi is also believed to be on their list of potential additions for the summer window of 2025.
