The Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona saga is perhaps the longest on-going transfer rumour that has been reported since the summer, but it now seems as if Premier League giants Liverpool, who previously declared that the Brazilian was not available for any price, have settled on a £127m valuation, according to the Express.
The versatile winger/midfielder has been in fine form for the Merseyside club once again this season, registering four goals and four assists in just eight league appearances.
Despite being a fan favourite at Anfield however, the Brazilian international has been overshadowed somewhat by the stellar form of Mohamed Salah, who leads the Premier League with 13 goals so far in this campaign.
Barcelona meanwhile sit comfortably atop La Liga table, five points ahead of their nearest rivals Valencia. The Blaugrana have been without summer signing Ousmane Dembele due to injury, and the addition of Coutinho, as well as the return of their young French winger, would make their already stacked squad all the more frightening.
