Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson is reportedly planning to make move for Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge in January.
The People reports that Hodgson is keen to take the 21-year-old on loan with a view to a permanent move.
Hodgson is prepared to pay £5million to make the move permanent if he is happy with Sturridge’s performances for the Reds.
Sturridge could reportedly be interested in a move as he is keen on regular first-team action.
The young striker has failed to become a regular at Stamford Bridge since joining Chelsea from Manchester City 18 months ago.
