The Guardian has suggested that Liverpool are readying January bid for Ajax winger Anwar El Ghazi.
New coach Jurgen Klopp aims to reinforce the squad in the winter and the Netherlands starlet is high on his wish list.
With several high-profile attackers struggling through injury, the German coach plans to add El Ghazi to his options up front.
The 20-year-old was in excellent form during his maiden season in Dutch Eredivisie, scoring 9 goals in 31 appearances, and he has been even more impressive this term.
Some excellent showings and eight goals scored in first nine games saw El Ghazi earn a place in the Netherlands squad, and he in turn started the final two Euro 2016 qualifiers for Oranje.
But, with Europe’s top clubs casting admiring glances his way, chances are that he could soon be leaving Amsterdam ArenA for greener pastures despite only having made 40 league appearances at senior level.
