The Daily Mirror understands that Premier League high-flyers Liverpool are considering a January bid for RB Leipzig forward Emil Forsberg.
Jurgen Klopp seems determined to reinforce his front line in the winter transfer window with Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic his number one target.
However, given that the Millionaires have no intention of selling their prized asset, the German manager has turned his attention to Emil Forsberg.
The Swedish winger has been one of RB Leipzig’s leading footballers for a couple of years now, and he long ago caught the eye of high-profile clubs.
Forsberg has been in excellent form this season, bagging 5 goals and producing 9 assists in 15 Bundesliga appearances and he could soon get a chance to cash in on his scintillating displays.
And even though Liverpool should have no problem matching the £20 million asking price, RB Leipzig are unlikely to negotiate the sale midway through the season.
