Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Liverpool are ready to submit an official proposal for AS Roma forward Juan Manuel Iturbe.
The Argentine has been on club’s radar for quite a while and the Reds are believed to be preparing a €25 million offer for his services as they are desperate to add more quality to their attack.
But, while the player himself would probably consider leaving Roma in search of first team football, the Giallorossi are convinced he can develop into a quality player at Stadio Olimpico in spite of the disappointing start.
The Serie A giants paid around €22 million for the 21-year-old footballer last summer, but he has since managed just one goal in 20 Serie A appearances.
And having started 15 of those matches, Iturbe should have done much better in his debut season at Stadio Olimpico, especially given his performances while on loan at Hellas Verona.
