Liverpool & Real Madrid pursue Mbappe

According to a recent report from AS, Liverpool and Real Madrid are still the leading contenders in the race to sign Kylian Mbappe.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward has teased the idea of leaving the French champions on multiple occasions but up to this point, he hasn’t quite pulled the trigger on it. He obviously has his pick of options if he does decide to go down the route of transferring away from PSG but a development like this doesn’t just happen overnight – it’s far more gradual than that.

Both of the aforementioned clubs haven’t been shy when it comes to letting their desire to sign Mbappe known to the wider public and we can’t see that trend stopping anytime soon. Based on recent form, however, Mbappe may question whether or not either Liverpool or Real will continue to reign supreme as European powerhouses over the course of the next few years and beyond.
