Liverpool reignite interest in Giovinco

Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport has learned that Liverpool are keeping close tabs on Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco.

The highly rated footballer has just over a year left on his contract in Turin and seeing as how he is not currently in the first team plans of boss Antonio Conte, there is every chance the Italy international will be sold in the summer transfer window.

Tuttosport has suggested that Premier League giants Liverpool are ready to take advantage of the situation and lure Giovinco to Anfield.

It is believed the Reds are searching for attacking reinforcements and the 27-year-old is one of the first names on their radar.

Sebastian Giovinco has struggled for regular playing time since returning from Parma and he has started mere six Serie A fixtures this season.

As a result, he was not included in Cesare Prandelli’s provisional World Cup squad. The Azzurri are priced at 6/4 to win their opening game against England.
