Liverpool reignite interest in Inter forward

Liverpool are ready to rekindle their interest in Inter striker Luc Castaignos, Voetbal International has revealed.

The 19-year-old only joined the Neroazzurri last summer from Feyenoord, but he is looking to leave Giuseppe Meazza at the end of the season.

The promising forward was never given a real chance at Inter and has only started one Serie A game this season.

Nonetheless, the player is still rated highly by a number of major European clubs and Voetbal International claims Liverpool are ready to offer the player an escape route from Giuseppe Meazza.

The Reds tried to sign the youngster last winter, when Castaignos even had a secret meeting with Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish, but Inter refused to negotiate a deal at the time.

The Anfield outfit are now ready to reignite their interest in the Dutch striker and they are hoping the Neroazzurri will be prepared to listen to their proposal.
