Liverpool reject new Babel bid

(GSM) – Liverpool have rejected a new bid from Birmingham for Ryan Babel. The Blues have been tracking the Reds winger since the opening of the January transfer window but Liverpool have snubbed Birmingham’s offers.

Babbel is unhappy at Liverpool and wants to move after his career stalled at Merseyside. And with the World Cup on the horizon, Babbel wants to play first-team football.

Birmingham are also reportedly interested in Lens’ Aruna Dindane, who is on-loan at Portsmouth and Tottenham’s Roman Pavlyuchenko.
