Liverpool are keeping close tabs on Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, according to Daily Express.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is looking to sign a high-profile attacking midfielder in the summer transfer window and he has been linked with a number of players.
While the Anfield outfit remain keen on Christian Eriksen and Hatem Ben Arfa, they are reportedly considering a bid for Shakhtar Donetsk star Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The free-scoring midfielder recently suggested that he would try and engineer a move away from the club in the summer, which has put some of Europe’s top clubs on red alert.
Tottenham are believed to be readying a bid for the Armenia international, but Liverpool might attempt to hijack their bid.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan, 24, has been in amazing form this season, scoring 19 goals in 20 league games for the Miners, while also proving his worth in eight Champions League appearances.
